Pooch Park at WCHS in Pullman

Established in 2008, Pooch Park at WCHS is Whitman County's first and only off-leash dog park. The park features fully enclosed sections for both large and small dogs, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all. With spacious grassy lawns, mature trees, and shaded areas, it’s a delightful place for both dogs and their owners to visit.

Access to Pooch Park is available through a paid membership, allowing members to use the park from dawn to dusk year-round. Membership fees help fund park maintenance, renovations, and staff operations.

In-person assistance for pooch park passes are available during the shelter’s business hours only. Contact poochpark@whitmanpets.org for further assistance.

Did something happen at Pooch Park that you think the Pooch Park Committee should know about? Please fill out the form below with all relevant details about the incident. This form is designed to report issues such as dog fights, concerning behaviors from dogs or humans, rule violations, broken equipment, and more.

Once submitted, the committee will review the information and investigate if necessary. You will be kept informed about the progress and the final outcome of your report. Our goal is to maintain a fun and safe environment for all members of Pooch Park.
