Mission Impawsible: Giving Tuesday!
You can help WCHS have a successful Giving Tuesday! Our goal is to raise funds for our TNR, SNAP and Hope Fund. Saving animals in need requires you, our community; love, dedication, determination and funds. We are eternally grateful for our staff, volunteers, and our donors who continue to provide community assistance to not only animals in need, but also the families of Whitman County and beyond.
In the interest of being proactive, our goal for Giving Tuesday 2022 is $5,000. With these funds we will be able to prevent unwanted litters, reducing the amount of animals-in-need residing within Whitman County while also being able to help those who need it most. TNR is one of the most humane ways we can prevent sick community or unowned feral kittens. SNAP, our spay and neuter assistance program in turn helps owned pets living in low income homes receive their spay or neuter surgery. Our Hope Fund will then step in when kittens (and other animals), who have lived outdoors without human intervention or who have suffered the effects of neglect resulting in failing health. Often, kittens and puppies who arrive at WCHS require life saving care. WCHS Hope Fund ensures they can receive the extra care they need as this fund is used for extraordinary veterinary care expenses.
We need your help to continue doing this work and to keep your shelter open. On Giving Tuesday, November 29, 2022, please consider a donation to the Whitman County Humane Society.
