Frequent Questions

Who pays for WCHS?

The Whitman County Humane Society is a nonprofit organization supported primarily through the donations of caring residents. While the Whitman County Humane Society contracts with Pullman, Albion, and Palouse to provide care for homeless dogs found within their city limits, the vast majority of our operating funds are from donations from residents like you. Donations may be made as a membership contribution, a memorial tribute to a beloved pet or person, or as a gift membership for a friend or family member.
