Lucy

Lucy is approximately 6 years old and came to Whitman County Humane Society in January 2008 with several other cats. She started out life with many, many other cats and not enough human interaction. As a result, she was extremely shy. With lots of TLC from our staff and volunteers, she slowly overcome much of their apprehension, showing us what a fantastic feline she really is. Lucy is now more than ready for her forever home. She is reserved and does not typically seek out laps, but if placed on one, she is more than thrilled and will rub her cheeks on you with joy. She is very curious as well, letting out a soft mew of excitement from time to time. She is wonderful with the other cats and always greets and accepts new kitties she meets in our social cat room. Lucy has had most of her teeth removed due to dental disease, so she will do better on a canned diet. Lucy is currently in foster care.
