Bennie & Belle
Belle came to our home as a foster recovering from hip surgery. She was hit by a car and abandoned. My boys, ages 9 and 6 now, love Belle. They wrestle, roll on the floor, and run like the wind together. Belle is just another playmate for these very active boys!

A year later, enter Bennie! He had a gash under his right front leg made from rope. I brought Bennie home and introduced him to our menagerie: rabbits, chickens, cats, and little boys. I fed him and tended his cut.

The first night, he slept alone on the back porch. The second night, he came into the house. And each night since, he sleeps on my bed! Bennie and Belle became the best of friends. They share toys, food, and our family. And we have room in our hearts for both of these very special friends.
