FINANCIALS
We know it's important to you that your donation is being used effectively. It's important to us, too. That's why we work hard to be accountable and transparent. We have a responsibility to our community and our donors and work hard to ensure long-term sustainability of the organization.

Our tax-ID number is 91-2054548 and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law
Shelter Statistics
In order to accurately report numbers as well as maintain transparency in how we operate, WCHS publishes our annual shelter report numbers for the public to review. WCHS strives to track all animal intakes and surrenders so that we can make data driven decisions regarding funding, space and our community outreach.

Pullman City code allows cats to roam freely but sick or injured strays will be addressed. WCHS will admit cats that are sick, injured, pregnant, nursing, or under 4 months of age when found outside within Whitman County. While the majority of cats we see are kittens, we still take in 50-100 adult cats a year.
